I enjoy staying active, whether it’s through academic challenges or personal hobbies like bowling, baking, and solving crossword puzzles.  

As I begin my journey at SMU, I’m excited to explore new challenges, grow academically, and build lasting connections with both professors and peers. There’s so much to explore, and I can’t wait to dive into everything university life has to offer. 

What are some of your interests beyond academic goals?  

I love baking in my free time, particularly experimenting with new dessert recipes. It helps me relax and express my creativity. I also enjoy crossword puzzles for the mental challenge they offer. Recently, I have taken up bowling, which has been a fun way to socialise and stay active.

What made you decide on SMU?  

I decided on SMU because of its unique seminar-style classes, which offer a more interactive and engaging learning experience. I believe this approach will allow me to have meaningful discussions and build stronger connections with both my professors and peers.  

The flexibility of the curriculum also influenced my decision to choose SMU. It will allow me to explore different areas of interest beyond my main programme, helping me gain a more well-rounded education.  

Additionally, I’m excited about the guaranteed global exposure SMU offers, particularly through its exchange programmes and internships. These opportunities will provide me with valuable international experience and broaden my worldview.
