In my free time, I enjoy staying active with friends, often cycling across Singapore or hiking the various trails around the island. It’s a great way to keep fit, clock my daily steps, and catch up with my friends.

What are some of your interests beyond academic goals?

Since childhood, I’ve been passionate about building with LEGO. I find it calming and deeply satisfying, as it’s a great way to unwind from the demands of school and work. There's something special about seeing the pieces come together into a finished creation. Over the years, my home has transformed into a personal LEGO gallery, showcasing models I've purchased and those gifted by friends, making the space uniquely mine.

What made you decide on SMU?

As an introvert, I’m particularly drawn to SMU’s seminar-style classes, which I believe will help me build confidence. I thrive in smaller class settings that encourage open discussions and closer interactions between students and professors. Such an environment would enhance my communication skills and keep me engaged.

I'm eager to gain diverse perspectives through interactions with my peers, enriching my learning experience.

What are you looking forward to the most when the school year opens?

I’m most excited to explore the wide variety of CCAs, societies, and clubs that SMU offers. I look forward to discovering new interests and perhaps pick up a few hobbies along the way. Engaging in these vibrant communities will not only help me develop new skills and broaden my horizons but also allow me to build meaningful friendships and fully enjoy my university experience.
