1. Take classes on campus
You’ve likely heard about SMU’s unique interactive seminar-style classes, known for nurturing graduates who are highly sought-after by top employers. Wondering if it’s a good fit for you? Why not come experience it yourself? Our Open House is the perfect chance to sit in on sample classes and get a taste of our unique pedagogy. Spaces are limited, so arrive early to secure your seat!

Over both days, immerse yourself in numerous information sessions where you can engage with our professors and students in an informal setting. Professors, students, and staff will be on hand to acquaint you with our interdisciplinary curriculum, majors, degree offerings – helping you map out potential career paths!
4. Tour Singapore’s first university city campus
No open house experience is complete without a campus tour. And here at SMU, we do it in style! Explore SMU’s city campus through either a small in-person group tour or hop on a breezy open-top bus tour. Both tours will give you a chance to take in our state-of-the-art facilities and discover SMU’s vibrant culture and spirit!
5. Experience SMU’s spectacular student life
University life is more than hitting the books: With more than 150 clubs and societies and a wealth of exciting events at the Open House, SMU’s vibrant student life lets you find yourself, develop skills for future work, and make lifelong friends.
Don’t miss the pop-up performances and CCA booths, SMU Sports Open (Saturday) or SMU Animal Day (Sunday)!
6. Ask Admissions
