MM vs MBA: Who reigns supreme… at football?

By Stefano Krisanto Tanuharja, SMU Master of Science in Management (MM) student

Hi all, my name is Stefano. I just wanted to share a wonderful experience that I had during the MM Programme at SMU. To balance the hectic academic life during the course of the programme, we make it a point to engage in many activities outside the campus. One of them is playing football together.

Last month, we arranged a friendly football match between MM students and MBA students at Premier Pitch, Turf City. It was very fun! We played in a 7-a-side field; that means we played 7 against 7. MM won 3-2 in that game, but the final score is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that we played and shared laughs together during and after the game.

Many female students in my class also came to support us. We also got the chance to meet the MBA students and to know them better. Remember, building connections is very important for your future career.

We play football regularly every week at The Cage, Kallang. If you love football, we invite you to join us there! See you.

Team spirit: The players were cheered on by their equally-enthusiastic female classmates

Hi guys, I am Harris from the MBA Full-time program 2015. Some of my classmates are also interested in playing futsal on a weekly basis. I was thinking that it would be more fun to play together with students from other master programs. My contact number is 90983575 (mobile/viber/whatsapp). Let me know then.
